Abstract
In this article, with the aim of identifying Christianity's view of the future, the historical roots, theology, and thoughts of Christianity were analyzed, and with the knowledge of Christian thoughts with a future research approach, an effort was made to quantify and explain the future thinking framework of Christianity. The current research is the result of the review of articles and qualitative content analysis regarding looking to the future and believing in the end of time in Christianity. Based on this, an effort was made by considering the element of "time" which is a key issue in future research studies; and matching it with theology, beliefs, historical events, according to Detour's view based on the four foundations of building the future, a conceptual model to answer the main question of the research should be extracted. The images were also classified as historical and ideal images; Based on this, the historical images include: the original sin, the Trinity, the Prophet Mary (pbuh), the conflict between Paul and Peter, the infallibility of the Pope or the Christian community, Judaism as the origin of Christianity, revelations, the Crusades and the confrontation with Islam, the Holy Grail, Reformation and the reformation movement of Martin Luther, the religious wars of Europe, the Inquisition and the fight with science; And the ideal images include: the return of Christ, Dajjal or Antichrist, the reign of world peace (or millennium), the promised land, the building of Solomon's temple, and Armageddon were extracted.
