Considering the necessity of prior knowledge of the career counseling activity environment and the emerging conditions, the main issue is the future research of the career counseling system in Iran. The main goal is to identify the types of career counseling system futures. The future research approach and the research method have been mixed. The methods of collecting information were "environmental survey" through reviewing documents and Delphi technique and referring to the opinions of experts. The sampling method was purposeful and the research tools were semi-structured interviews and closed questionnaires. The analysis methods were cross-matrix analysis using Mic Mak and Scenario Wizard software. The main findings showed that career counseling is influenced by three key drivers: "the organization of employment agencies", "having a long-term horizon and planning" and "the need of different sectors of society for career counseling". Finally, the Scenario Wizard software suggested two scenarios, one optimistic called "flying over the horizon" and the other pessimistic called "staying in the gray state". The general result is that the probability of the realization of an unfavorable scenario is higher, and to prevent it, a set of policies must be followed. Among other things, we should move towards the organization of trustee institutions centered on the organization of the psychological and counseling system.
