Analysis of the components of psychological empowerment of adolescents during the Islamic Revolution, considering the statements of the Leader of the Revolution and the statement of the second step of the Islamic Revolution.

Abstract

Empowerment approaches are a conceptual framework of interest, the application of which promotes a healthy lifestyle among adolescents. Most of the models presented in the field of psychological empowerment of adolescents, despite their differences, diversity, and also their advancement and evolution over time, are derived from the worldview and ideology prevailing after the Renaissance and are willingly or unwillingly based on the Western lifestyle. On the other hand, the quality of realizing the high goals and ideals of the revolution is rooted in educating capable adolescents who will play their role, mission, and function in this regard in the future and will be the foundation for the development and construction of Islamic civilization in the present era. The detailed views and opinions that exist regarding the adolescent of the Islamic Revolution and related issues in the speeches of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the documents of the upper echelons of the system were analyzed using a qualitative approach and the method of content analysis, considering the aim of the present study, which is to extract psychological empowerment components from the statements of the Leader of the Revolution and the documents of the upper echelons. The research findings include ten comprehensive themes: 1. Hopefulness, 2. Willpower, 3. Revolutionary activism, 4. Intellectual self-development, 5. Awareness of time, 6. Learning knowledge, 7. Justice, 8. Family-centeredness, 9. Religion-orientedness, and 10. National zeal; twenty-three organizing themes and ninety-two basic themes. Considering the rich and valuable horizon and perspective of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on the one hand, and the necessity of educating adolescents who, according to the level of the Islamic Revolution, have been called capable and will continue the movement of the Islamic Revolution
