Abstract
The issue of future research on the social identity of the youth in Iran, in today's society and with the expansion of local, national and international communication and its promotion, the rapid pace of change in the social identity of the youth has become a place of debate and controversy. Therefore, the main goal of the current research is to analyze the future of social identity of young people in the minds of sociological experts. The current research is exploratory in terms of its purpose, descriptive-analytical in terms of type, and qualitative research in terms of the method of collecting information and final results. The statistical population of the research is the experts in the field of sociology of Iranian universities. The sample size was calculated based on theoretical saturation, which included 13 experts. The research tool was a structured interview and the basis of the conducted interviews was the analysis of the social identity of young people in the minds of experts. The selection of experts was done by purposeful sampling method. After interviews with sociological experts about the social identity of young people, thematic analysis and layered causal analysis, the interviews were conducted at four levels: litany, systematic causes, discourse and metaphor or myth. And four scenarios were designed based on the two drivers of beliefs and social mentality and economic and political crises.
