The mediating role of strategic agility on absorptive capacity and innovative performance (case study : Ports and Maritime Organization of the country)

Abstract

The absorptive capacity of knowledge refers to a set of organizational processes and processes during which the organization deals with the acquisition, stimulation, transfer and extraction of knowledge, to create dynamic capabilities. These capabilities increase the organization's ability to achieve and sustain competitive advantage. The aim of this study is to investigate the role of the mediating role of strategic agility in the impact of adsorption capacity of Ports and Maritime Organization of the country. The concepts and model of the research were defined by studying the literature. The population studied in this study is active Ports and Maritime Organization of the country; it is used to collect data from a survey. Questionnaires were collected through e – mail and socials media and 200 applied questionnaires were collected in order to evaluate the reliability of measuring instruments above 0.7, and after statistical analysis by SEM revealed that absorptive capacity has a direct impact on firm performance, and strategic agility affects firm innovative performance. Moreover, it was found that the absorptive capacity using strategic agility has indirect effects on the innovative performance of insurance firms.
