Human agency and subjectivity in the modern world have opened up the possibility of the future for humans. On this basis, humans can have a future and shape the future. To build the future, humans need a map to formulate the future according to that map. One of the main fields of studying the future is fiction (along with foresight and forecast). Fiction or forefiction means creating an image of the future within the agencies that shape the future. One of the tools of fiction and the image of the future is dreaming and dreammaking. Having a dream is motivating, inspiring, hopeful, and motivating. The image of an utopia will be a future-building dream, and if it becomes a collective and national dream, it can shape a nation and make history. In this study, in order to understand the function of dreams in shaping the future and inspiring communities, three examples of dream-making resulting in social movements have been studied using a collective case study method. By studying the case of Hughes-Luther King in the American Civil Rights Movement, a model has been extracted on the basis of which two other examples of dream-engineering actions by enemies against the Iranian nation in the last 20 years have been examined. In both cases, which were based on the two musical songs "Imagine" and "Our Dream", the same pattern of directing social movements with dream engineering can be observed. Finally, it has been suggested that in addition to promoting future literacy and dream literacy in society, the capacities of dream-making and dream-making should be used to inspire the nation and the people of other nations and give hope to the people, artistically and professionally..
