This article aims to investigate the mediating role of knowledge management and the effect of prospective price perception on customer purchase intention. The study is descriptive in terms of its applied purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population consisted of customers of the cellulose industries in Tehran. Assuming an unlimited population, a sample size of 384 people was selected using simple random sampling method based on Morgan's formula. Data were collected through a standard questionnaire, the validity of which was confirmed by experts in the field of futures studies and its reliability was measured with Cronbach's alpha (0.86). SPSS software and statistical tests such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov, multiple regression analysis, and Sobel test were used to analyze the data. Also, by utilizing futures research techniques such as trend analysis and scenario writing, the results were interpreted within the framework of the goals of the resistance economy and the values of the Islamic Revolution.
The findings showed:
1. The prospective mental image of price has a positive and significant effect on knowledge management (market knowledge).
2. Knowledge management has a positive and significant effect on customer purchase intention.
3. Knowledge management plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between prospective mental image of price and customer purchase intention.
The prospective results indicate that aligning pricing policies with future market scenarios, technological developments, and the justice-oriented values of the Islamic Revolution can help increase customer loyalty and industry sustainability.
